HOUSE WOOLMAKER 2.
This
guy has the breeding and the background. Woolmaker 2's sire
is not only a Barreda male, but also is a Peruvian National
Show Champion. His dam's sire is also a Barreda male. His name
says it all - density and merino-like fleece. He has demonstrated a major and extremely valuable asset of no "blowout" in his fleece with age and has cut 6.1 kg.
When
shown at the Australian National show at 10 months he was placed
third in a class of 32 and the judge commented that "he
was the densest male in the class, with extreme lustre and character
of fleece but was overfleeced". His first fleece was easily
the heaviest of all yearlings shorn at Cedar House that season.
